Dr. Mandy Peach – NL PoCUS lead

Dr. Peach completed her EM POCUS Fellowship through Dalhousie University under the supervision of Dr. David Lewis and Dr. Paul Atkinson. She currently leads the NL PoCUS Society, and is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine (EM) with Memorial University where her focus is on PoCUS education and curriculum at all levels – from undergrad to staff. She is committed to extending PoCUS education across the province with the creation of online NL PoCUS Grand Rounds, gathering experts from across the country to share knowledge with those on any part of the island.

Dr. Margo Wilson

Dr. Wilson completed a 3 month PoCUS Fellowship through Dalhousie University under the supervision of Dr. David Lewis and Dr. Paul Atkinson. Her PoCUS expertise is focused on resuscitation, but Dr. Wilson’s vast knowledge extends to all applications. Among her many leadership roles as Associate Professor of EM, she currently is the Assistant Program Director of the EM Residency Program at Memorial University and has been involved in PoCUS education at MUN, in both urban and rural settings.
Dr. Gillian Sheppard

Dr. Sheppard has been a pioneer of POCUS in NL with the implementation of PoCUS into undergraduate anatomy courses, the creation of the NL PoCUS Society and leading numerous PoCUS education based research projects. As an Associate Professor with MUN, she currently serves as Academic Chair for the Discipline of EM.
Dr. Rebecca Bobby

Dr. Bobby is a local PoCUS expert with special certification as CPOCUS Master Instructor. She currently is an Assistant Professor of EM at MUN and serves as chair of the EM Discipline’s POCUS Subcommittee, Postgrad POCUS Director and postgrad POCUS Elective Coordinator.
Dr. Jordan Stone-McLean

Dr. Jordan Stone-McLean is a local PoCUS expert, with years of scanning experience. His recent focus has been on improving PoCUS knowledge translation to rural and remote areas, with creation of a bidirectional virtual teaching platform. He currently serves as Assistant Professor of EM and Program Director for the EM Residency Program at Memorial University.
