The CanPoCUS IP School meets all the requirements for those wanting to progress to certification with CPoCUS Acute Care Core PoCUS Independent Practitioner (IP). If this is your intention, then we would recommend signing up for CanPoCUS IP School which will enable you to complete up to 100 scans.
Recommended Experience
You have or will have completed a CanPoCUS Core course or equivalent introductory PoCUS course. Signing up for CanPoCUS Core the day before this IP School is accepted.
Free Access to CanPoCUS Core lectures
CanPoCUS IP School delegates will receive free access to the full library of CanPoCUS Core online video lectures. This resource provides a detailed review of all core applications, including evidence, technique, Pearls and pitfalls.
Information & Requirements
If you have completed the CanPoCUS Core course immediately prior to this course, you will be well prepared for the IP School. If you have previously completed the CanPoCUS Core course or another introductory course at another time, please review proper scanning techniques and requirements for determinant scans (see CanPoCUS website).
